The company came into being in 1996 due to the rapid development of the special transport section in  Transped Gruppe, a traditional family business since 1983 which has 200 employees and an annual turnover of 200 million Euro.

Just like its parent company, STS has enjoyed a steady rate of success for 14 years with its targeted niche market policy and a high level of specialisation. Thanks to continuous, profitable sales growth STS has developed and now employs 70 people and enjoys a very high level of financial standing.
